DNS-OARC depends on membership dues to subsidize its publicly available services, tools, and events. DNS-OARC offers multiple tiers so stakeholders and organizations can choose the right level of support and enjoy additional, Member-only benefits if they wish.

Membership Levels
DNS-OARC members have voting rights within the OARC legal entity (i.e., to elect the Board of Directors) and access to certain members-only resources. There are six levels of membership:
Diamond: This is available to corporations and agencies with an utmost interest in supporting the mission and success of DNS-OARC. This level entitles Member to at least eighteen (18) assigned Points of Contact, each of which may participate in the DNS-OARC system, twenty percent (20%) discount on software development and inclusion of Member in publicity materials appearing on the DNS-OARC website and elsewhere.
Platinum: This is available to corporations and agencies with a particularly strong interest in supporting the mission and success of DNS-OARC. This level entitles Member to at least twelve (12) assigned Points of Contact, each of which may participate in the DNS-OARC system, fifteen percent (15%) discount on software development, and inclusion of Member in publicity materials appearing on the DNS-OARC website and elsewhere.
Gold: This is available for organizations with a strong interest in the mission and success of DNS-OARC. This level entitles Member to eight (8) assigned Points of Contact, each of which may participate in the DNS-OARC system, ten percent (10%) discount on software development and inclusion of Member in publicity materials appearing on the DNS-OARC website and elsewhere.
Silver: This level entitles Member to five (5) assigned Points of Contact, each of which may participate in the DNS-OARC system and five percent (5%) discount on software development.
Bronze: This level entitles Member to three (3) assigned Points of Contact, each of which may participate in the DNS-OARC system.
Blue: This level is available, at the OARC Board's discretion, to individuals and small organizations/groups with 10 or fewer employees or less than $1M annual income. It entitles Member to two (2) assigned Points of Contact, each of which may participate in the DNS-OARC system.
Non-Member Participant Levels
Supporter: This tier for non-members is no longer available to new applicants. It was previously offered to qualified non-profit and research organizations, contingent on approval by the Board of Director & based on the potential positive impact of an explicitly-stated, yearly, non-monetary in-kind contibution to the DNS-OARC mission. DNS-OARC is currently working on a new and enhanced non-member participation program, which will be announced soon. Please stay tuned for further updates.
Examples of possible In-kind contributions can be found on Suggestions to satisfy In-kind contribution requirement for Supporter Participation. If applying for the Supporter level, please state on the Application Form how participation by your institution will be of overall benefit to the operation of DNS-OARC.
DNS-OARC Supporters do not have voting rights or access to certain resources. The DNS-OARC Data Sharing Agreement may be used by organizations that only wish to contribute data.
