2017 OARC AGM

The DNS-OARC 2017 Annual General Meeting will take place on the 30th September in the afternoon of the OARC27 Workshop, in San Jose, California, USA.

We are looking for nominations for candidates willing to serve a two-year term representing their Member organization on the Board, and who will contribute to the continued development of OARC. The Board meets monthly, by teleconference, and several times a year face-to-face, to review DNS-OARC strategy and operations. We expect our directors to actively contribute to the various ongoing, email based, discussions and provide oversight & feedback as needed.

An ideal candidate will be one with the business experience to help formulate strategy and guide the technology & policy which drives DNS-OARC, that can also  increase the diversity of the OARC Board to reflect our broad spectrum of Members. Note that Board seats are held by Member organizations rather than individuals, and candidates must be from an DNS-OARC Member in good standing.

If your Member organization would like to nominate a candidate, please send an email to board2017@dns-oarc.net with a brief statement of the nominee's background and platform. We will be asking nominees for a statement of interest and will post these online with a list of current nominees.

The deadline for nominations is 23:59 PDT on 28th August 2017.
